Challenges of Engaging and Empowering Line Managers in Communication Leadership
This session explored the role of the line manager in communications; why it is often a problem and how it can be improved. David Gallagher, a communication consultant led the discussion. With his coaching and change management experience particularly in retail, customer experience and people development, David has a wealth of experience in mobilising middle managers to engage employees around large scale change. David was previously with EE where he led teams through merger and large-scale organisational, brand and cultural changes and CBRE working to develop communication strategy within new Retail Advisory Group.
