Led by Nick Wright, we looked at organisations that have experienced serious reputational damage over the years, how they dealt with it and what happened thereafter. Anderson and Enron are early examples followed by the financial services sector and more recently consumer-facing organisations like Alton Towers, Thomas Cook and of course Volkswagen where the scandal is hitting the headlines on a daily basis. We explored the opportunities and pitfalls for companies under-going serious issues, and importantly how you as communicators can support and advise on managing the internal employees through difficult times.
